The photo is from the U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III which evacuated 640 Afghans late Sunday, the Defense One report said. Though the plane wasn’t intended to evacuate Afghan refugees, they climbed up the half-open ramp into the C-17. Instead of trying to make the refugees leave the U.S. Army decided to leave with them.
This aircraft flew to Qatar, where the Afghans disembarked, the website reported.
In the image, itself men, women children can be seen sitting on the floor of the plane from end to end. The photo has gone viral, revealing the sad state of the country.

The Taliban, which has seized control of Afghan capital Kabul, on Tuesday declared an “amnesty” across the country and urged the women to join its government. The women were earlier, during the Taliban rule from 1996-2001, barred from attending school or working outside the home. Besides, they had to wear the all-encompassing burqa and be accompanied by a male relative whenever they went outside.
